Mike is passionate about reaching our community with the love of Christ and seeing God’s grace transform people’s lives. He has been involved in church work most of his life, having started preaching at the age of 16 with years of different ministry in the community even before this.
Originally from a small farming town in Kentucky, USA, Mike loves getting to know people and empowering them to serve together in our community. Mike preached in churches in the United States from 1991-2004 before moving to Australia to marry his beautiful wife. Mike and Lindy have been living in Sydney and serving in churches there since 2004 until God called them to Lakes Baptist in mid 2015.
God has blessed Mike and Lindy with 7 children and Mike can't get enough of his awesome family".
Mike loves bush walking, a day at the beach, most anything outdoors and spending time with his wife and kids. He also loves singing and song writing in addition to his preaching and teaching. Mike would love to meet you and see how you can join with us to reach our community with God’s love.
