Connect Groups
At Lakes we are passionate about Small Groups. It’s a wonderful thing to have a group of people that walk through life with you, sharing the highs and lows, supporting you, praying for you and just ‘hanging out’ with you.
A large variety of Connect Groups cater for women, men and couples and meet at various times and in various locations each week. Here are some of the connect groups we currently have available:
Monday:
- Ladies Group: 2:30-4pm at Joyce’s House
- Ladies Group: 7pm at Hope Cottage
Tuesday:
- Ladies Group: 10am at Lola’s House
- Ladies Group: 12:30pm at Maureen’s House
Wednesday:
- Ladies Group: 10am at Jacqui’s House
- Men & Ladies: 7pm at Carolyn & Steve’s House
- Men’s Group: 7pm at our Church Building
Thursday:
- Ladies KYB (Know Your Bible) Group in the Church Hall

Women
She Is: an event we run for women and girls in our community about 4
times each year. It involves things like: movie nights, high tea, etc.

Men
We plan to start having events for men and boys in our community
about 4 times each year. These may include things like: camping,
bonfires, breakfast on the barbie, etc.

Community
We hope to soon offer lots of opportunities to connect our church
family with our community. Including: bonfires, movie nights, open
mic nights, etc.
