Power of Legacy Seniors Fellowship Flyer 2025If you are 55yrs of age or older, Lakes Seniors Fellowship invites you to join us to hear guest speaker, Rev. Ian Barnett, Founder of National Grandparent Movement.

Ian was the Senior MInister of a large evangelical church in Wollongong from May 2008 to 2021, when he retired.  He has been in full time ministry for over 30 years.  In 2017, as a result of his passion for intergenerational ministry, he started the National Grandparent Movement, as he wanted to ensure that the current generation was encouraged to leave a lasting faith legacy for those who follow.  In particular he wanted grandparents to grab hold of the many opportunities presented to them in this stage of their life, to pass on their faith to their grandchildren.  Married to Rhonda, they have three married children and seven grandchildren.  He is also the General Editor of the first Christian book on grandparenting in Australia, called, “Footsteps for Future Generations”.
